The Chicago Blackhawks will host the 2017 NHL Draft™ at the United Center, marking the first time the organization and the city of Chicago host the event.
The Draft will be held over two days - Friday, June 23 (6:00 PM), and Saturday, June 24, 2017 (9:00 AM). NHL club executives, scouts and coaches will be present on the NHL Draft™ floor while more than 15,000 fans and hundreds of print, television and radio media are expected to attend.
When is the Draft?
Round 1: Friday, June 23 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Rounds 2-7: Saturday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
When is Fan Fest?
Friday, June 23 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
How many draft picks do the Chicago Blackhawks have?
The Blackhawks are currently scheduled to pick in Round 1 on Friday and have nine picks on Saturday.
When do the doors to the United Center open?
Friday, June 23 at 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 24 at 7 a.m.
Do I need a ticket for the Draft?
You will need a ticket to enter the United Center for the Draft. $10 Draft tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.
Do I need a separate ticket for Fan Fest?
Yes, every fan will need a Fan Pass to enter Draft Fan Fest. If you purchased a ticket to the NHL Draft that will take place inside the United Center, you will receive your Fan Passes in the mail in June (prior to the event). If you do not have tickets to the Draft but would like to attend Fan Fest, a select number of FREE Fan Fest passes will be available for pick up at the below locations starting June 9 through June 22. (Fan Passes will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Limit (4) per person.)

How do I get a ticket to come into the United Center and how much do they cost?
Tickets are available at the United Center Box Office or Ticketmaster. Tickets are $10 for each day.
Fan Fest passes are free, but there is a limited number available, so if you did not purchase a Draft ticket, but want to attend Fan Fest, you are encouraged to pick one up at one of the participating locations while supplies last.
If I purchased a ticket, how and when will my ticket be delivered? Will I get a Fan Fest Pass with my ticket purchase?
Your Draft ticket(s) will be delivered electronically to the email address you provided during the purchase process. Fan Fest Passes will be delivered via the US Postal Service to the address you provided during the ticket purchase process.
Is my ticket valid for both days?
For the Draft that will take place inside the United Center, you will need a separate ticket for each day. Fan Fest Passes are valid both days.
Is seating reserved in the United Center?
Lower level seating is currently available only to NHL Draft participants. A limited number of reserved seats may be available for purchase closer to the event. Limited reserved seating is available in the Lexus Club Level. The 300 Upper Level is general admission.
How much is parking?
Parking is $10 in the United Center lots.
Will the Stanley Cup be at the event?
Yes, the Stanley Cup will be at the Fan Fest in United Center Parking Lot C. (Friday: 3-8 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.). You must have a Fan Pass to enter Fan Fest and the Stanley Cup line.
What is the Fan Fest?
The Fan Fest will feature live entertainment, Blackhawks player and alumni appearances, Chicago's Plate/Chicago's Pour's food and beverage offerings, interactive games and attractions, inflatable hockey rink featuring various hockey clinics and the NHL Centennial Fan Arena.
What is the NHL Centennial Fan Arena?
The NHL Centennial Fan Arena is a traveling exhibition featuring a 53-foot museum truck, pop-up ball hockey rink, Zamboni virtual reality driving experience, and Stanley Cup appearance.
