GLOBAL SUPERSTAR MILEY CYRUS ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL & RESCHEDULED U.S. BANGERZ TOUR DATES

Global superstar Miley Cyrus announced today the details of her rescheduled U.S. BANGERZ TOUR, which will resume on August 1 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. The new schedule includes all previously cancelled and postponed dates, as well as two additional dates in Pittsburgh and Chicago.

All tickets from the original shows in Nashville (April 8), Louisville (April 19), Philadelphia (April 22) and Uniondale (April 24) will be honored on their new show dates. Full refunds will be issued to ticketholders for Charlotte (April 7), Kansas City (April 15) and St. Louis (April 16). Tickets for the rescheduled Charlotte, St. Louis, Kansas City dates and newly added Pittsburgh show will go on sale May 2, and tickets for the newly added Chicago show will go on sale May 9.

This 9-city leg of the North American tour is in support of Miley’s album Bangerz, which debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and the Digital Album Charts with over 270,000 albums sold. Both singles, “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop,” off Bangerz have already sold 4.3 million copies in the U.S. alone. “Wrecking Ball” hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for two weeks. It became Miley’s first Billboard Hot 100 #1 and her fastest-flying Top 10 on Radio Songs.

Bangerz has been getting rave reviews including Entertainment Weekly calling it “…utterly fresh, a pop blitz from a hip-hop blueprint, and proof that Miley won’t settle for just shocking us.” Us Weekly declared it “the year’s most titillating pop explosion” awarding the album “4 stars (out of 4)."
