Building Security Officer

At Your Service (AYS) is hiring at the United Center, home of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls. AYS seeks a well-organized individual to be Building Security Officer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: enforcing compliance with building security procedures, inspecting and screening employee, contractor, and media bags, and handling guest complaint resolution. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, leadership ability and good interpersonal skills. Security experience is a plus. Must have weekend and holiday availability and a valid driver’s license. Average hours will not exceed 18 hours per week.

Crowd Manager

At Your Service (AYS) is hiring at the United Center, a premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls. AYS seeks a well-organized individual to be Crowd Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: enforcing all guest conduct policies, assisting guests with disabilities and imparting guest information and direction, guest complaint resolution, limiting access to restricted areas, clearing seating areas and concourses post-event, and facility policy enforcement. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, leadership ability and good interpersonal skills. Must have one or more of the following: security experience, PERC card, or Criminal Justice education. Must have evening, weekend, and holiday availability. Average hours will not exceed 18 hours per week. Salary requirements MUST accompany application and/or resume.

Guest Services Human Resources Assistant

The United Center, a premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, seeks a well-organized and motivated individual for the position of Human Resources Assistant for At Your Service - Guest Services Department.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Provide clerical support to Senior Director and other HR personnel.
  • Actively recruit, prescreen, and interview candidates for part-time positions for At Your Service Guest Services departments.
  • Assist new hires with the completion of pre-employment paperwork (I-9 Forms, W-4 Forms).
  • Coordinate and track the fulfillment of all pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug tests, etc.) Maintain personnel files, proper filing of I-9 Forms, and display required legal postings.
  • Coordinate and track the onboarding process for new hires, process and file all general post-event paperwork to HRIS (corrective action, call-offs, terminations, attendance, and training.

Ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, results driven, and has the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to work with various computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Experience with Taleo recruiting software and Ultipro programs a plus. Must be able to handle multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or five years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Competitive salary and benefits. Salary requirements must accompany resume.

Guest Services Team Leader

At Your Service (AYS) is hiring at the United Center, a premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls. AYS seeks well-organized individual to fill position of Guest Services Team Leader. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: supervising event staff, assisting the manager on duty, new hire orientation, and administration of Guest Services department training. Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner. Candidate must also have flexible availability including evening and weekend hours. Average hours may total approximately 18 hours per week. Some college or one to two years related experience preferred. Competitive salary. Network Analyst

The United Center, a premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, seeks a well-organized and motivated individual for the position of Network Analyst.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with LAN environment of Brocade switches, cabling, VLANs, IP addressing, and NAT.
  • Generate reports for planning and management reporting.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of cabling (copper and fiber), punch-downs, connections, media converters, and distribution equipment.
  • Maintain wireless infrastructure keeping network diagrams and documentation current and complete.
  • Responsible for WAN links between United Center and remote facilities, network switching, routing, and remote connectivity ensuring security and reliability.
  • Providing support for events at the United Center and assisting other Technical Departments in diagnosis and correction of problems.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry standards through combined training and certifications.

Ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, results driven, and has the ability to work well in a team environment. Bachelor’s Degree and/or commensurate experience required.
