CITY OF CHICAGO VACCINE REQUIREMENT: UPDATE TO UNITED CENTER POLICIES
Yesterday, the City of Chicago announced its “Chicago Vaccine Requirements” for indoor public spaces, which includes the United Center as a sports and entertainment arena. Effective January 3, this health order will require any individual 5 years of age and older to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when entering the United Center for all events including Bulls games (starting January 3 vs. Orlando), Blackhawks games (starting January 4 vs. Colorado), and United Center special events.
Fans age 5 and older must show proof of full vaccination.
Fans age 16 and over will also need to provide identification that matches their vaccination record.
The City of Chicago mask mandate also remains in effect for all public indoor settings.
The City of Chicago’s announcement states that proof of vaccination means a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or an official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, or country where the vaccine was administered or a digital or physical photo of such a card or record, reflecting the person’s name, vaccine brand, and date administered.
