Account Executive, Premium Sales

JOB SUMMARY:
Premium Sales Account Executives are responsible for selling an array of United Center premium ticket-related products, that include the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks and Concerts/Special Events. Heavy emphasis will be placed on new business development through both virtual and face-to-face meetings at the United Center and out of office. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of clientele.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible include, but are not limited to, the sale of season suite licenses and club spaces for Bulls, Blackhawks and Concerts/Special Events.
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Build new relationships through self-prospecting, cold calling and effective campaign management.
  • Generate virtual, out of office and United Center “face-to-face” meetings to create new opportunities with top area businesses and B2C sales campaign leads.
  • Candidate should be well-versed in prospecting, appointment setting and executing sales presentations in a face-to-face & virtual format.
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with prospects through creative means, including but not limited to: one-on-one meals, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings.
  • The candidate will be accountable for weekly and monthly KPI’s (calls, touchpoints and appointments).
  • We are looking for candidates that possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as the competitive desire to be the best.
  • Candidate should possess strong communication skills to conduct sales presentations.
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities.
  • Enhance sales culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members.
  • Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and game-day duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful sales experience regardless of previous industry.
  • Four-year college degree.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs; including both the CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to navigate the arena in order to visit prospects during home games and escort potential customers on seat tours; showing various seating options at facilities on both gamedays and non-gamedays.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.         

 

Premium Seating Analytics Analyst

The Premium Seating Department is responsible for the sales and service of three Executive Suite levels, as well as the all-inclusive BMO Club and Budweiser Champions Club. These products are available for all Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks games as well as Special Events (concerts, family shows, etc.) at the United Center.

The Premium Seating Analytics Analyst, a newly created position, will report to the Manager of Premium Seating Analytics and support efforts to improve data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role will support Premium Seating’s Sales, Service and Operations groups to drive revenue and increase operational efficiencies.

An ideal candidate will have a strong mix of the following:

Job Responsibilities:

Business Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and manage dashboards to support overall Premium Seating operations and provide clear insight into historical, current, and projected performance
  • Build and standardize queries and data sources to enable other team members to quickly draw insights and maintain consistent metrics
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting across the organization

CRM Management

  • Run the day-to-day administration of CRM including user management, data hygiene, and performance reporting
  • Optimize the current CRM configuration and identify improvements to enhance usability based on new business requirements and feedback from end users
  • Assist with lead generation and acquisition and efficiently route prospected leads to sales staff
  • Advocate for adoption of CRM across the organization by building strong cross-functional relationships and train staff on new processes or tools

Customer Data Management

  • Establish rules and processes to standardize data collection and structures and ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data
  • Monitor data health and quality across all databases and lead key integrations to ensure accuracy and usability of data
  • Improve automation and integrations between systems to simplify manual processes

Qualifications / Characteristics Required to Drive Success in the Role

We are looking to place a highly organized self-starter who can work well across departments to fill this role. You could be a potential match for this role if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a consistent track record of professional and personal achievement
  • 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in a consulting, program management or analytical strategy role
  • Strong business acumen and application of data and insights to business strategy
  • Proficiency in SQL, preferably working with Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and/or analyzing and synthesizing large data sets
  • Experience in designing effective charts, graphs, and visualizations (Tableau preferred)
  • Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends should elements of the role require a presence at events
  • A strong desire to work for a high profile, small business

 

Building Security Officer - 2nd & 3rd Shift

General Responsibilities:
To ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for all United Center Team Members and guests by monitoring assigned areas.

Specific Duties:  (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Create a safe and secure environment for guest and employees.
  • Monitor CCTV, door alarms, alarm systems
  • Report unsafe and unpresentable circumstances within the work area.
  • Have superior knowledge of facility services and physical layout.
  • Promotional Item Distribution
  • Guest complaint resolution.
  • Incident report documentation.
  • Facility policy enforcement     
  • Customer service skills
  • Inspect and screen employees, contractors, media bags, etc., using hand held and walk through magnetometers
  • Standing at post, walking through the facility, and lifting items
  • Using security vehicles for patrols and posts

  • Must be able to fully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Must have weekend and holiday availability.  Must be a positive, outgoing individual able to work well with large groups of people.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.  Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Security, military, and or law enforcement experience
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software related to the Security field
