Account Executive, Premium Sales

Premium Sales Account Executives are responsible for selling an array of United Center premium ticket-related products, that include the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks and Concerts/Special Events. Heavy emphasis will be placed on new business development through both virtual and face-to-face meetings at the United Center and out of office. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of clientele.


  • Responsible include, but are not limited to, the sale of season suite licenses and club spaces for Bulls, Blackhawks and Concerts/Special Events.
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Build new relationships through self-prospecting, cold calling and effective campaign management.
  • Generate virtual, out of office and United Center “face-to-face” meetings to create new opportunities with top area businesses and B2C sales campaign leads.
  • Candidate should be well-versed in prospecting, appointment setting and executing sales presentations in a face-to-face & virtual format.
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with prospects through creative means, including but not limited to: one-on-one meals, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings.
  • The candidate will be accountable for weekly and monthly KPI’s (calls, touchpoints and appointments).

  • Candidate should possess strong communication skills to conduct sales presentations.
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities.

  • Successful sales experience regardless of previous industry.
  • Four-year college degree.

  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs; including both the CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to navigate the arena in order to visit prospects during home games and escort potential customers on seat tours; showing various seating options at facilities on both gamedays and non-gamedays.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.         

Event Operations Coordinator

The United Center is looking for a Rock Star.  Someone who is a passionate, team player that is ready to take their career to a championship level.   

As part of the Events Department, you will serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling all non-ticketed events originating from other departments throughout multiple event spaces at the United Center, as well as assist with the Bulls and Blackhawks Practice Facilities, as needed. You will also coordinate multiple small events and provide administrative assistance within the Events Department as needed, as well as handling tasks on behalf of the Director of Events

Primary Duties

  • Schedule all non-ticketed events, construction projects, walk-throughs, practices, etc. on Arena calendar. Work closely with the VP of Booking, Director of Events, and the team representatives to ensure the  calendar is up-to-date and accurate
  • Compile and distribute monthly schedules, weekly production notes, broadcast truck schedule and other varies documents as needed
  • Maintain and update department files, certificates, manuals, and related documents
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Events Department by scheduling weekly production meetings, be the contact for team practices and locker room needs, process invoices, update attendance reports,  submit notification for all event fire permits and other permitting, other duties as assigned
  • Assist with NBA and NHL game coverage, as needed for both Event Managers and Guest Relations.
  • Be the main contact for TMA’s and the City of Chicago
  • Assist Event Managers on events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned              

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities         

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word & Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment


  • College degree or equivalent experience required
  • Previous experience planning or servicing events  (i.e. arena, theater, University) strongly preferred

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet business needs.

Help Desk Technician III

General Responsibilities:

The Help Desk Technician III will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and implementing processes surrounding current software systems. This position is responsible for responding to technical support requests for business applications, such as, accounting platforms, Business Process Management (BPM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The Enterprise Application Analyst is also responsible for vetting vendors and making recommendations to management, maintaining vendor connections and contracts to ensure quality support and redundancies for vendor management.

Specific Duties:(Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Daily administration and support of business systems including, but not limited to, managing user setup, system configuration, and layout changes
  • Work with business stakeholders, developers, and end-users to define requirements, develop, and manage new features and processes within the applications
  • Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments, and coordinating actual software testing with end users
  • Identify system problems and manage the resolution process
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users

  • Expertise and experience with Sage Accounting applications preferred.

Manager, Premium Seating Analytics

The Premium Seating Department is responsible for the sales and service of three levels of Executive Suites, the all-inclusive BMO Club and all-inclusive Budweiser Champions Club Theater Boxes. These products are available for all Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks games as well as Special Events (concerts, family shows) at the United Center.

The Manager of Premium Seating Analytics, a newly created position, will be responsible for leading efforts to improve strategic decision-making within the Premium Seating department through the effective use of data and visualizations. The role will support Premium Sales, Premium Service and Premium Operations groups to drive revenue and increase operational efficiencies.  This individual will directly manage our CRM system and email database and will be responsible for improving how the department collects, stores, and visualizes data. This person will collaborate with the department to redesign processes to ensure we are executing effective, technology enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with relational databases, managing CRM systems, be proficient in SQL and Tableau, and demonstrate the ability to think strategically and build alignment amongst executive partners.


An ideal candidate will:

  • Be inherently passionate, driven, and results oriented
  • Be comfortable balancing multiple projects and/or analyses across different areas of the Premium Seating business
  • Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, to a wide spectrum of partners

Job Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Analytics

  • Build and manage dashboards to support overall premium operations and provide clear insight into historical, current, and projected performance
  • Lead the pricing and inventory analysis for the premium department
  • Develop models to forecast demand and evaluate progress towards financial goals
  • Evaluate and collaborate on the design of business processes across the department supported by technology
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting across the organization
  • Support the evolution of the Premium Seating department strategy by understanding trends and researching best practices across sports and entertainment

CRM & Data Management

  • Oversee day to day management and enhancement of key systems, including our CRM, Email database, and Data Warehouse
  • Monitor data health and quality across all databases and lead key integrations to ensure accuracy and usability of data
  • Assist with lead generation and acquisition and efficiently route prospected leads to sales staff
  • Identify and implement CRM improvements and add-ons to enhance usability or increase data capture accuracy
  • Improve automation and integrations between systems to simplify manual processes      
  • Support adoption of CRM, specifically with training for sales and service staff in the department


Qualifications / Characteristics Required to Drive Success in the Role

  • We are looking to place a highly organized self-starter who can work well across departments to fill this role. You could be a potential match for this role if you have a strong mix of the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a consistent track record of professional and personal achievement
  • 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in a role that relied heavily on data modeling and data analysis
  • Strong business acumen and application of data and insights to business strategy
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in SQL (R or Python a plus) and familiarity with relational databases and data warehouses
  • Strong visual design skills and experience building and interpreting Tableau dashboards and reports (or an equivalent visualization software)
  • Experience with CRM and Email systems, preferably with experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with strong critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience managing budgets and efficiently allocating resources to meet business objectives (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends should elements of the role require a presence at events
  • A strong desire to work for a high profile, small business
