The United Center, the premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls, is currently hiring for the following position:  

Director of Box Office Operations
The Director of Box Office Operations is primarily responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Box Office, assisting with the oversight and management of Box Office employees, which also includes acting as liaison with Union Local 750 (Ticket Sellers).
Position is responsible for all setup, maintenance and management of all ticketing events; the implementation of ticket sale procedures for all events in a manner consistent with guest service standard; the development of training programs that supports organizational goals, and a customer service program that elevates service standards for guests and internal customers.
Successful candidate will also be responsible for establishing relationships with local and national promoters to ensure the successful functions of events, on-sale preparations and processes, inventory management, event implementation and audits as required for settlement.
We are looking for someone with high energy who is very professional, well-polished and has excellent communication skills to interact regularly with clients. Candidate should have at least a minimum of 10 years’ experience managing a box office, including all aspects of event creation and management, budget and personnel management; has expertise in all Ticketmaster systems, including but not limited to, TM Host, TM Archtics, TM Famuser, TM One and the EMT event management software.
Candidate must have a flexible schedule and available to work event nights, including weekends and holidays.
Marketing Associate
The Marketing Associate is responsible for assisting the day to day operations of the United Center Marketing Department, where the primarily focus is on concerts and special events for the arena campus. 

We are seeking an individual with a 4-year bachelor’s degree, including 1-3 years of professional experience (music and entertainment preferred), to provide forward thinking support for United Center marketing initiatives, including, but not limited to, promotion of upcoming events, development of arena marketing plans and programming activations in growing campus locations.  Advanced Photoshop knowledge is required.

Qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting with event management, website management, mobile marketing and social media marketing duties.  Candidate will create and manage consumer-facing email marketing (HTML experience preferred), evaluate and optimize email templates and track campaign performance while providing regular reporting.  Additionally, candidates will create graphics and assist with daily content to maintain social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Yelp and Google Maps.  Ideal candidate should display strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills and should have a flexible schedule.
Event Sales Manager

The Event Sales Manager is primarily responsible for the sales of club events and meeting spaces for corporate, private and internal clients.  The successful candidate is tasked with creating innovation solutions and improvements of club events and experiences, collaborating with clients to define their vision and needs, and generating positive results for all events. 

The position will serve as a liaison between client and teams.  Candidate will also research past contracts to consider future events, prepare proposals and contracts for event sales, prepare sales material, and assist with bids for United Center special events.

Interpersonal skills are essential to this position. We are looking for someone with high energy who is very professional, well-polished and has excellent communication skills to interact regularly with executive clients. Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience working within a sales environment, should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have the ability to read schematics and CADS.   

Candidate must have a flexible schedule and available to work event nights, including weekends and holidays.  

Manager of Information Security
Successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of information security and operation services across the United Center’s campus. 

Candidate will assess information risks and facilitate remediation of identified vulnerabilities with the network, systems and applications; will perform vulnerability assessments utilizing security tools and methodologies; will recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures to reduce risks; will analyze security breaches to determine their root cause and will train staff in security awareness and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, great communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and have a very strong work ethic. Candidate should have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends.

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or combination of an Associates Degree and appropriate experience required.  Candidate should have experience in Intrusion Detection and Preventive Systems, Identity and Access Management Technologies, Security Information and Event Management, network protocols and packet analysis tools, Cloud, Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems, including knowledge of PERL or other shell scripting languages.  ECSA, CISSP, and/or GSEC, GCIH, GCIA certifications are a plus.


Technical Production Analyst

Successful candidate will ensure all audio/visual and broadcast engineering equipment functions properly and will troubleshoot when necessary.  Candidate will also be responsible for tracking the AV Schedule and preparing production kits accordingly.  A basic knowledge of audio, video and data communication are essential to the position, including a keen understanding of cable management and terminations as it relates to audio-visual productions.

The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge of current industry standards and emerging technologies, a positive attitude and good customer service skills, self-confidence and professionalism, great communication skills and a very strong work ethic. Candidate must also be available to work evenings and weekends.

Associates Degree or certificate from a college or technical school; or 6 to 8 months related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience required.
